We strive to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered. Our office accepts payments by cash, checks, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also offer a sliding scale for patients without insurance to help meet your financial needs.

Insurance Policies

Our office staff will be glad to assist you with your insurance coverage. When you first visit our office, bring your current insurance card with you. If you change insurance companies or join another employer’s plan, please be sure to let our insurance department know. If an insurance referral is necessary, please bring the completed form with you to your appointment.

The Office of James A. Deutsch, M.D., located at 110 Remsen Street, is a preferred provider for 1199SEIU, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Emblem, GHI, HIP, MagnaCare, Oxford, United Healthcare as well as Medicare and SeniorCare.

At University Ophthalmic Consultants, located at 185 Montague Street, we accept Medicaid, all managed care Medicaid programs, Obamacare programs, Medicare and private insurances.

Kings County Hospital Eye Clinic, located at 451 Clarkson Avenue, accepts Medicare, Medicaid and many Medicare managed programs.

We will submit all insurance claims for you. We will fully attempt to help you receive full insurance benefits; however, you are personally responsible for your account, and we encourage you to contact us if your policy has not paid within 45 days. If we are not contracted under your insurance, you will be given a copy of services and charges to file with your insurance claim form.
